Identity Theft is the taking and use of a person's private identifying information without the person's permission for financial gain or to commit fraud.  You may know or suspect that personal information such as your name, your social security number, your financial accounts, or your debit/credit card/s information has been used by another or stolen. If you think or suspect that you are the victim of Identity Theft contact your local law enforcement agency AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to make a report.  Call 9-1-1 or use the telephone numbers below - the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office will answer 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.
