Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office personnel do not make telephone contact with any citizen regarding a citation or Failure to Appear warrant issued for missing jury duty.  If you are contacted please hang up and call this office directly at 913-682-5724 or 913-724-1313 or the Leavenworth District Court at 913-684-0700.

Scammers are contacting Leavenworth County residents by telephone - the story is that a citation or warrant has been issued and money must be paid while on the phone to avoid an imminent arrest.
